I had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna. The hotel’s location is outstanding and made it incredibly easy to explore the city. The property was consistently clean and well maintained, and I particularly appreciated the daily housekeeping service, which was always thorough and reliable. Despite being in such a central location, the hotel was remarkably quiet, allowing for a comfortable and restful stay. I would also like to give special recognition to Sebastian (I hope I have his name correct), who worked at the reception desk and assisted me during both check-in and check-out. As a first-time visitor to Vienna, I frequently approached him with questions throughout my stay, whether for restaurant recommendations, directions around the city, sightseeing advice, or assistance related to my room. Every single time, he was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely happy to help. What stood out most was not only his willingness to assist but the warmth and positivity with which he did so. His recommendations were excellent, his guidance was always clear, and he consistently made me feel welcome. Employees like Sebastian make a real difference to the guest experience, and he genuinely made my stay more pleasant and enjoyable. Please extend my sincere thanks to him. He is a great ambassador for the hotel and one of the reasons I will remember my stay so fondly. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful experience in Vienna.

We had an outstanding stay at the Steigenberger Icon Herrenhof, and a very special mention must go to Ermanno Rinaldini, Guest Relations Manager. From the very beginning, Ermanno made us feel genuinely looked after. He was incredibly attentive, professional and warm, and seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even had to ask. Whether it was arranging tickets, recommending restaurants, helping with reservations or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, he handled everything with remarkable efficiency and a very personal touch. What impressed us most was that his service never felt rehearsed or transactional. He truly cared about our experience and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. His knowledge of Vienna, his attention to detail and the way he communicates with guests are exactly what one would expect from a top luxury hotel. Ermanno is a real asset to the hotel and one of the main reasons we would gladly return. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Excellent hotel, clean quiet rooms, fabulous breakfast, friendly service. Really central location, on top of a subway station. Short walking distance to key attractions. Not inexpensive, but worth the price. Lovely restaurants nearby, also the hotel restaurant Bela is very good.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the city center and only a walking distance from many attractions and herrengasse metro stop. It has a nice atmosphere and rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is phenomenal and fitness center and sauna are great. Staff are friendly and helpful and the cost is reasonable.

This is our second time back at this lovely hotel. It is within easy walking distance of all the sites in Vienna. The rooms are modern, clean and bright. The breakfasts are phenomenal. Fresh eggs and omelet stations, fresh breads, pastries, coffees, juices, cheeses. It's the best around. The hostess, Josie has a welcoming smile each morning and makes sure you are set at your table with coffee or tea. We left there this morning and are already talking about our return trip. We look forward to seeing the staff again. They are the best!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful hotel. The location is PERFECT ! Walking distance from many places and close to train station. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Great experience all around.highly recommended

Great hotel right in the heart of central Vienna. You can walk everywhere within the city centre in a few minutes. Lots of eating options nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is quiet at night and we had a good night sleep throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for a stay in central Vienna.

We loved our stay here. It was the quietest hotel we have ever been too. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful and the sauna spa area was a beautiful treat. The tea and water in the lounge area was a very nice touch and staff always cleaning. The location of the property s perfect. Steps from many attractions and historical sites as well as Cafe Central.
