Best experience I’ve had internationally, and I’ve travelled to many places. Staff were excellent. Even though Marriott is a large corporation with thousands of properties, this hotel felt like a small boutique hotel. Staff remembered my name and room number, checked in numerous times to make sure everything was okay. We received handwritten notes welcoming us to the hotel and had some pastries waiting for us upon entering the room. At breakfast, one of the chefs called Dayat made an amazing yogurt desert and made sure my wife and I were happy with the food. We had a Premier King and the room was very spacious. Hotel is 5 minute walk to nearby mall, so that was very convenient. Even though we stayed for one night, it was a memorable experience and this hotel should serve as a standard for other hotels and how they treat their guests.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Marriott Yogyakarta. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment throughout my visit. The hotel is well-maintained, and the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive, making the overall experience very pleasant.The breakfast spread was one of the highlights of the stay, offering a wide variety of local and international options to suit different tastes. The hotel's location is also excellent, with Pakuwon Mall conveniently located right beside the property, making dining, shopping, and entertainment easily accessible.One area that could be improved is the breakfast seating arrangement. On two separate mornings, I was assigned a table by the staff, but upon returning with my food, I found that the table had been taken by other guests. This suggests there may not be a clear system in place to identify and reserve assigned tables. While the staff assisted in finding alternative seating, a more effective table management process would help enhance the breakfast experience.Overall, Marriott Yogyakarta offers comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast options, a prime location, and outstanding hospitality. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Yogyakarta.

I highly recommend this hotel. I am currently writing this on my third night at this wonderful hotel, in their beautiful M Lounge. I’ve traveled all around the world, and this is one of the best Marriott properties I’ve ever stayed at. It is clearly managed exceptionally well, with a strong focus on genuine hospitality. Everyone working here is clearly very well trained. I absolutely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family, and I would not think twice about coming back.

5 stars - if only I could give 6 stars. The entire experience at the Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel exceeded expectations from start to finish What truly stands out is the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly warm, kind, and attentive, creating a genuine sense of hospitality throughout the stay. The service felt personal rather than transactional, and the team consistently went out of their way to help The food was excellent as well, from breakfast to lounge offerings and desserts. The facilities are also very well maintained - we especially enjoyed the spa and gym, both of which added to the relaxing atmosphere of the trip. The rooms were modern, spacious, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches and elegant Javanese-inspired design details throughout the hotel Another major advantage is the location, right next to one of the best malls in Yogyakarta, making it very convenient for dining, shopping, and escaping the heat after sightseeing A fantastic stay overall and easily one of the best Marriott properties we have visited. Highly recommended

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights, and overall, we had a great experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly, especially if you're traveling with kids. The food was delicious, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We did have one issue during our stay and had to make a complaint, but the duty manager handled it professionally and resolved it very quickly. We really appreciated how responsive they were. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Our family's three-day, two-night stay at Yogyakarta Marriott was truly exceptional and unforgettable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The food was excellent and perfectly suited to our palate. What impressed us the most was the outstanding hospitality and service, which went far beyond our expectations. Thanks to the wonderful team, our family vacation and our child's birthday celebration became a cherished memory that we will always treasure. Without a doubt, Marriott will be our first choice whenever we return to Yogyakarta.

Modern luxury hotel with excellent staff, nice pool, and a good gym equipped with high quality machines. Restaurant staff are so friendly and helpful. Soirée Saturday dinner buffet was great. Cooking - serving team are top notch. Texas Brisket has delicious and authentic. M Club staff are exceptional. They delivered the highest level of service every time we walked in.

One of the best Marriott properties I've stayed in. Rooms were very clean, service was fantastic! The staff were very attentive, and the food was amazing. My friends and I agreed this was one of the best hotel breakfast because they delivered on: variety, quality and taste. Even in room dining fried rice was one of the best. As a bonvoy member I definjtely felt appreciated and recognised. Only one thing, when I asked for connecting room the reservation team told me that would incur extra charges (which made me feel unpleasant as a bonvoy member). Luckily the concierge was accommodating enough to arrange the connecting room for me.
