This is a special year for myself and my wife. We both love this wonderful city of Wien and its architecture, music, culture and history. We’ve stayed in some very fine properties indeed. This hotel is phenomenal in terms of the site and the facilities etc.|Great people. I know that IHG hotels have IC properties as the flagships and no wonder. We’ve stayed at others as my wife holds high level status membership and we travel a lot.|Our room was fantastic. Great views and had both a bathroom and shower room. Club lounge guys all brilliant and range of food really great. I think my wife particularly pleased that Daria reassured her that sleeping in late is good for a relaxing stay 👌 I have to say, the beds are incredibly comfortable and we were on vacation…|We had amazing times in and around the hotel. The park is lovely and it was great to see so many families relaxing and enjoying the green area. |The receptionists and concierge team are a mine of information- I don’t know of another hotel in Vienna that could obtain row A for state opera and top quality recitals Gotchy deserves a medal! 👏👏|Love this hotel, Kateryna deserves a shout out as do the guys in the bar and the amazing door men. Great to have bespoke transport but taxis are handy and the gentleman on the door really warm and accommodating.|All great 😊

I was a bit nervous at first and especially concerned about the AC levels since my last August trip to Vienna staying at the run down Hilton was a disappointment as the AC was useless in 95f summer heat. But the intercontinental hotel proved to be just the opposite and the 2026 heat was just as intense. The hotel is well maintained and our Jr Suite was recently remodeled which made it even a nicer surprise. The bed was very comfortable, the floor quiet and we especially loved the in room coffee makers as we typically get up much earlier than when the restaurant opens. Decent breakfast buffet and good coffee. Staff were friendly and always helpful. In spite of the hotel outside appearance looking very 1960’s. The interior is very relaxing and comfortable. We never tried the coffee bar with cake downstairs but it seemed very popular in the afternoon. My only negative comment is regarding the bath towels in the room, especially for a suite. Paper think and only three. In this kind of summer heat more than one shower a day was required.

We had an excellent stay at the InterContinental Vienna. The service was the standout for us. I do not give perfect scores very often, but every staff member we dealt with was friendly, helpful, and professional. I would give the service 5 out of 5. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a great city view overlooking Stadtpark, and we could even see St. Stephen’s Cathedral in the distance. Breakfast was excellent with a very good selection. We especially enjoyed the pancakes, fresh juicing station, good coffee, and the made-to-order station where you could get omelets, Eggs Benedict, or freshly cooked eggs. The location was excellent for exploring Vienna on foot, with Stadtpark directly across from the hotel and many of the main sights within walking distance. The only small improvements I would suggest are better light blocking under the room door, as hallway light came into the room at night, and more convenient bedside power outlets, especially USB-C charging. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location of the hotel is excellent, and the breakfast on the first floor was outstanding. The staff in the breakfast restaurant were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive. The executive lounge, however, did not meet my expectations. I didn’t find the food selection to be worth the additional cost, so I would likely skip lounge access on a future stay. During one visit, several guests were having loud phone conversations on speaker, which made the lounge less relaxing. I would have appreciated staff addressing the noise. I was also disappointed with the experience regarding a power converter. Initially, I was told none were available. Later, after I mentioned I was willing to purchase one, a converter became available, but only for €20. Given the room rate of nearly $500 per night, I had hoped the hotel would be able to lend one to guests as a courtesy. In addition, turndown service was provided only once during my stay. Overall, I would consider staying here again because of the excellent location and breakfast, but I would book a standard room and bring my own power converter rather than paying extra for executive lounge access.

It is a great hotel with great location and comfy beds. But even rhough it is a very old building. It lacks that luxury in the rooms that it normaly has. The rooms need a type of remodeling. They look old as for the bathrooms specially the showers and the towels are very thin, but at least they do absorb. But the eoom configuration with it connecting are great, very spacious, talking of the room corner # xx1 and xx3. The restaurant its spacious in the lobby not a special room. Its great its concept because pf the limited space. The ac in the room does not feel that cold set it at its coldest. In general its of course great, just a bit of facelift in its rooms. The pillowd flattened out in 5 mins. The breakfast buffette is really great.

Great location and an absolutely awesome bar. Just what we were looking for. A 5 star experience but they don’t treat you like you’re lucky to be there like some places. |Friendly staff and everybody from receptionists to breakfast staff and housekeepers all friendly but professional. Loads of international guests which is great to see. Food and drink high quality, shame the main restaurant is currently closed but hotels have to do updates and the cafe Vienna food was good. Nice range. |The concierges ate brilliant at helping you make the most of your time in Vienna. We’ll for sure be back! |Thanks to all the staff, you do a great job!

Hotel very welcoming, lobby lounge bar amazing - but a little understaffed. We had lounge access and the food, drink and service was the best we have come across! Stunning views over the city. Room was near lifts, bed was very hard and pillows very soft but overall we really enjoyed the visit and would recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. From the friendly and attentive bellman who welcomed us, to the professional reception team who made check-in effortless, every interaction was exceptional. Breakfast was outstanding with a fantastic selection and excellent service. Housekeeping kept our room spotless, and the thoughtful turndown service each evening added a luxurious touch. It’s clear that every member of the staff takes great pride in providing outstanding hospitality. We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended! The only small disappointment during our stay was one interaction at the bar. I wanted to order a drink to take away, but the bartender insisted that I call room service instead. Unfortunately, she came across as rather dismissive, which was surprising given how warm, friendly, and accommodating every other member of the staff had been. Thankfully, this was the only negative experience during an otherwise exceptional stay.
