Hotel Sans Souci exceeded every expectation we had. The room was absolutely beautiful—spacious, elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Dollar for dollar, it was one of the best hotel values we’ve experienced anywhere in Europe. What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. No request felt like an inconvenience, and they consistently went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location is excellent, the hotel is impeccably maintained, and the overall atmosphere is luxurious without ever feeling pretentious. I would not hesitate to stay here again and will gladly recommend Hotel Sans Souci to anyone visiting Vienna. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

The only bad aspect of our stay was that it didn't last longer. From arrival to departure - every moment was absolute bliss. The staff is overall friendly, professional and helpful. The butler service was just great! From the evening bar expierence to breakfast - it was eye opening! We have stayed in many hotels worldwide but I must say the breakfast was the best! The combination of daily changing special breakfast items that you can order to your table to a selection of high quality dishes that are for you to pickup at the buffet - everything tasted fresh, and looked aesthetic like taken from a Guide Micheline catalogue. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable! Dankeschön, und bis zum nächsten Mal!

From the moment I arrived until the day I left, my stay at Hotel Sans Souci was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are elegant and comfortable and every detail reflects the high standard of the hotel. The location is also perfect—right next to the MuseumsQuartier, making it incredibly easy to explore Vienna on foot. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the people. I wanted to give a special thank you to Sherif, Lisa and David. Every one of them welcomed me with genuine warmth and kindness, and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. As a solo traveller, that level of hospitality makes such a difference, and they made me feel completely at home throughout my stay. Whether it was offering recommendations, answering my endless questions, or simply greeting me with a smile each day, they made every interaction feel personal and sincere. Their professionalism, attentiveness and genuine care are a credit to the hotel. Hotel Sans Souci translates to “Hotel Without Worries,” and after spending a week here, I can honestly say the name couldn’t be more fitting. From the exceptional service to the beautiful surroundings, I truly didn’t have a single worry during my stay. Thank you to Sherif, Lisa, David, and the entire team for making my first visit to Vienna so memorable.

Great location. Just walking distance from Museum quartier and Maria Theresa Platz. A metro nearby but we never had to use it. |The atmosphere was wonderful. The library, restaurant, lobby and the corridors were all thought through in their design.|Rooms had really high ceilings, which is really nice. The shower had great flow and the bathrooms were spacious. The temperature control on the Air Con is great too - we could reduce it to 17 deg during the nights and have it at 23 during the day. |With respect to the value for the money - one would agree that this is on the expensive side of the hotels. But given the locations, having sauna, steam room and great facilities, more than exceptional breakfast, free coffee 24/7 - it is worth the money. |There's no question of cleanliness. The hotel is spot clean - wherever you go.|No outside noise will disturb you when the windows are closed. The best part is the service- from the reception staff to kitchen staff they all were really polite and committed to great customer service. Anna on the reception - allowing an early check in for us to giving us great information about the surroundings and the amenities, exceeded expectations. |Will definitely go back when time permits.

Gorgeous hotel in perfect location. Within walking distance of the 1st District sights and the Museum Quarter right across the street. |The staff is super friendly and always happy to help.|The Rooms are spacious and bright. A cool thing is that the TV is in the mirror! The spa area is calm and peaceful. So it was perfect after a day of sightseeing. I did a few laps in the elegant pool (you are swimming under ballroom chandeliers!!) and then relaxed in the sauna. |I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

Three friends, four nights in Vienna in late August, and a trip built around some of the things Vienna does best: art, food and music. Our days took us through museums, galleries and art fairs, with great food in between and music becoming part of the Vienna experience. Hotel Sans Souci Wien turned out to be the perfect home for those four days. Each of us had our own room, and one of the first things we loved was discovering that they were not simply variations of the same room. Each had its own theme, design and artwork, giving it a distinct personality. Comparing our rooms and what each of us had discovered almost became part of the fun. We later learned that the hotel displays more than 90 original works, many from the owner’s personal collection. That explained something we had already noticed: the art never felt like decoration chosen simply to match the interiors. It appeared almost unexpectedly throughout the hotel — in our rooms, along corridors and in spaces where you might suddenly stop because something caught your eye. After spending our days experiencing Vienna through art, food and music, it was wonderful to return somewhere where the conversation with art somehow continued. And it continued with the people too. The concierge team were not only extremely helpful, their knowledge of art genuinely impressed us. Conversations went beyond the usual recommendations and reservations. They knew the museums, exhibitions, galleries and the art itself. We actually learned from them, which added another dimension to the trip. Beyond the art, Sans Souci is elegant, intimate and beautifully maintained. The rooms were extremely comfortable, the location was excellent for exploring Vienna, and the service throughout our four nights was warm, attentive and personal. By the end of our stay, Sans Souci felt like more than the hotel we returned to after a day of exploring Vienna. We came for Vienna’s art, food and music. Sans Souci somehow became part of the experience.

What a wonderful hotel. Perfectly positioned to make the most of Vienna. We stayed for three nights and were very well looked after by the marvelous friendly and attentive staff. Our room was spacious, modern and light with some lovely touches. You can see all of the fixtures and furniture were of a superior quality and the bed was extremely comfortable with very nice linen sheets. Given it's so conveniently located alongside one of the tram routes and close to an underground station, I had concerns it might be rather noisy. I needn't have worried. Whatever they've done with window glazing & seals, our room, which was to front of the hotel, was completely insulated. The breakfast selection and service was top-notch. Each morning we were presented with an excellent choice, which on weekends is available through to 2pm. So whether you're enjoying a long Sunday morning lie-in, taking advantage of the pool and sauna, or out and about for a few hours, there's no rush. Whilst there are certainly more opulent hotels in Vienna, this well appointed, well run, perfectly positioned gem is hard to beat. We would certainly look to stay again, when next in Vienna.
