Great location on Lake Titicaca.. Rooms with Views.. A little out of central Puno but not far if you need to go… Restaurant has beautiful views with a great menu. Buffet breakfast had lots of choices! Bed were comfortable and the rooms spacious..

It was really good! We are not usually the type of people to write reviews, but we didn’t really know what to expect at first, (we were antayon Int the hotel) and it turned out to be a great experience! The starters are very generous, they could almost be a main course on their own! The main dishes were also very good, with a nice mix of typical Peruvian food and international options. A special mention to Juan, who was very attentive, friendly and made the experience even better. Definitely don’t hesitate to give this place a try, we really enjoyed it!

Overall, the service and structure of the hotel are good; however, I can’t recommend the restaurant! Breakfast is okay, but trying to have dinner at the hotel was terrible. I ordered a pesto gnocchi, which came with exactly 15 individual gnocchis for 40 soles. I was bothered by the size and pricing of the dish, because while I waited a long time for my food, I saw the servers coming with big plates of food to other tables, and, when mine arrived, I was still hungry after finishing. After contesting our server about the size of the dish, they argued that the plate was an entrance and not a main dish, witch I contested by opening the menu and clearly showing them that it was under main courses. Even room service was not a good experience. I ordered vegetarian “sandwich”, which only came with a single slice of bread and a guacamole topping and a few chips (like 7 chips max). Another 40 soles gone. The stay is good, but I’d definitely recommend skipping the restaurant when you can. You can eat MUCH better and fair priced food ordering online from other businesses in town.

Great hotel, large rooms, clean bathroom and comfortable beds. Good variety of food selection for breakfast. Delicious food in the restaurant for dinner, nice bar area with open fire place. Located on Lake Titicaca with beautiful views across the lake to Puno and a jetty you can walk out on to view the bird/water life. My only gripe is that the hotel is located about 20mins out of town and there are no shops or restaurants in the close by vicinity.

Lovely room overlooking the lake. Staff were friendly - especially the young man on the bar serving drinks. We didn't have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked very appetising. Only downside was that it was quite far from the centre and not easy to get into the town without a taxi.

We had a lovely time at the Jose Antonio Hotel Puno. The staff were excellent, attentive to the guests needs. I really appreciated Fermin and his wait team who made my birthday celebration very special.

Lunch and breakfast were both spectacular. |Breakfast has so many options, anyone can feel satisfied, from the traditional hotcakes and french toasts to a variety of fruit and vegetables, starting the day at San Antonio was ideal.

The beds in the room are comfortable enough but as a couple they are too small to sleep in together so you will sleep separately. |The AC in the room was broken despite being set at 10 degrees it was still blowing hot air. When I contacted reception they sent up a woman with a heater. |I called reception and they told me to open the window which meant a noisy night with the passing traffic. |Overall not a great experience.
