Excellent two week stay at this lovely property. Located at the quiet end of Macrossan Street, Silkari Reflections delivered on all that it promoted. The two room superior apartment we booked was spacious, very clean and wanted for nothing in way of anything we needed. The modest pool was very clean and I swam in it everyday of our stay. Manager; Crystal was an absolute delight. Whilst always busy and highly professional nothing was ever too much trouble for her if you needed her friendly assistance. She always made you feel like a very valued guest. I also noted this when I witnessed her interactions with other guests. Silkari Hotels is very lucky to have acqired her services and she is a valuable ambassador for the brand. Also I would like to commend the friendly and fastidious cleaning staff. We will both happily return to Silkari Refections of Port Douglas.

Fantastic location about 30m from the beach and an easy walk to everything in town. Staff communication was excellent! They were friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

We just got back from an amazing holiday in Port Douglas and couldn’t be happier with our stay. The resort was incredibly clean and tidy — you can tell the team really take pride in maintaining the place. A special shout-out to the management staff, who were super friendly and full of helpful information about the local area. Crystal, in particular, went above and beyond for us. She helped us organise and book several tours and made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable. Her knowledge of Port Douglas and her genuine care for guests really made our trip. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxing, well-managed, and welcoming place in Port Douglas!

Absolutely beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. Crystal was the Hostess Extraordinaire. So kind, thoughtful and accommodating. Even knocked on our door with chocolates for my husband's birthday. Awesome location, so close to the beach and some fabulous restaurants. 20 out of 10 for Crystal and Silkari Reflections. Thank you so very very much.

We were impressed by the manager, crystal, the location, and the apartment/room itself. Place was big, clean, had a lovely living room and patio. Crystal was accommodating! The place looked just like the photos from the booking.

Good sized comfortable apartment in great location. Apartment was pretty quiet considering great central location. |Well appointed kitchen with everything you’d need for catering on a family stay. Supermarket a short walk away. |Bathrooms generously sized and good water pressure. |Some aspects were a little tired but overall a pleasant stay. |I wouldn’t chose this apartment for the pool - which was pretty small and not much room fit more than one family poolside at a time. But the beach is very close and much more scenic.

First of all, Carmel is fantastic and extremely welcoming. The property is very clean and the location is perfect. Close to the beach for a lovely walk and on Macrossan St and close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. Definitely a prime location. The apartment was spacious (2 bedroom) immaculate, and very comfortable. We will most definitely be staying here again.

Our least favourite accommodation during our recent 3 week trip to Australia. If position is your priority then I would recommend as it’s walking distance to the beach and all the shops/restaurants on Macrossan St. However, we found our ground floor 2 bed apartment to be dark, no privacy, no view and certainly not the tropical balcony view we were expecting. The sofas were comfy but there was a general feeling of being not quite clean. The floors felt dirty, our feet were filthy after taking our shoes off when we arrived. Items in the kitchen needed cleaning. Compared to similar accommodation in Palm Cove this was far more expensive but far less quality. Didn’t meet our expectations.

Where can I eat near Reflections of Port Douglas?

You are on Macrossan Street, the main dining strip, so plenty of options are a short walk away. Hi Tide, Wrasse and Roe, and Zinc Restaurant are all about 100 metres from the hotel, with Thai Douglas, Pasta & Co., and The Little Larder about 200 metres. The Mexican, Bucci, Rattle n Hum, and ZanDers Beach Cafe are roughly 300 metres away. The hotel's own Restaurant is also on site for a convenient meal. For a sweet treat, Wicked Ice Cream Co is nearby as well.
