Great location, close to everything, very good value for money. Has a quirky local theme which has been done well. Room was a good size and very clean. A little bit of noise from others checking out but otherwise fine. Very friendly and helpful at reception on arrival. Parking right at the door and a nice pool area.

Highly recommend this place! Rooms are huge, bathrooms, kitchen area, laundry room, pool area and the overall general area are clean, and are well maintained. The bed is big and comfortable. Very short walk to a perfect sunrise on 4 Mile Beach. What really made this place stand out for me were the 2 employees I had many conversations with. Amazing people who made my trip even better that it already was and made me feel like I was welcome/at home. Will definitely be back and recommend you giving this place a stay!

Wonderful accomodation. This typical motel has been transformed into a cosy accommodation with great communal kitchen, swimming pool and good vibes place. The rooms and beds are comfortable, location convenient, it’s a pick up location for the reef tours with Quicksilver cruises. The staff are super friendly too. We really enjoyed our stay.

The service was good and friendly, the facilities average. For most of the day, there is no shade around the small pool for sitting and reading. A ceiling light bulb in our room was out so the room was a little dark. They did not serve food/ have a restaurant, but there were plenty of places to eat very near the motel.I would recommend it for its location and price and would stay there again due to its proximity to Macrossan st and the beach, which makes it an ideal place to stay.

We stayed here (again) this week and really enjoyed it. The location is right in the heart of Port Douglas and the facilities are top notch - including the new EV charger. The pool and entertaining area are great for kids - we had a BBQ there and admired the hand-painted mural of tropical sea life. Each room has individual troppo-themed artwork, which helps provide a unique holiday experience. We'll definitely come here again!

Great room and arrived late but it was no problem and they were really very helpful. Amazing location and would definitely visit again. Felt like a real holiday. Parking is available but tight so if you have a big car just park out front on the road instead. My room had tea and coffee with milk in the fridge and a jug of cold water which was thoughtful. The shower had shampoo and conditioner and soap everything you could want.

We love staying at this unique tropical themed motel, which is located an easy walk from all of the top Port Douglas bars and restaurants. Each room has hand painted artwork and the guest pool area is awesome. It is continually improved and now includes EV charging. We’ll definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place! We stayed for 4 nights as a family of 3 in July 2026 and couldn't have been happier. The location is perfect. About a 5 to 10 minute walk into town onto Macrossan street, with shops bars and restaurants. But the motel is really quiet at night. The room was massive and very well equipped with 3 beds, a sofa, fridge and mini kitchenette. Bathroom was clean, tidy and had a great shower. Bernie on the desk was super friendly and got our room ready ahead of check in time after we had flown overnight. Parking was easy, with loads of nice big spaces. We didn't use them, but there is also a pool, laundry and barbecue area for guests. Overall, I don't think you'll find anywhere better in Port Douglas!
