Festivalna dvorana Lent — the Festival Hall Lent — is Maribor's central indoor stage, set right beside the Drava River in the city's lively Lent quarter. In more than twenty years it has hosted over a thousand major events, from ballet and theatre productions and dance spectacles to television shows and concerts spanning rock, pop, jazz, folk and tribute acts, and during Maribor's stint as a European Capital of Culture it was the home venue for some of the most prestigious international concerts in town.↗↗
The hall bills itself with the motto 'where the party feels at home,' and that versatility is its real signature. It works as a concert arena one night, a minerals-and-fossils fair or an exotic-animals exhibition the next weekend, a wedding or New Year gala, and a rental space for closed groups of up to 500. A highly acoustic interior fitted with top-tier audiovisual equipment, paired with an exceptional riverside location and modern architecture, makes it a favourite with both touring artists and local organisers.↗↗↗
