Wat Phu Danhang
Wat Phu Danhang (Wat Phu Danhang; วัดภูดานฮัง) is a small rural temple in Phang Khwang, on the quieter edge of Mueang Sakon Nakhon. It is the kind of Buddhist site that rewards travelers who enjoy slow detours: village roads, hillside steps, naga balustrades, and a calm atmosphere far from the main tourist route. Visitors describe a peaceful, shaded setting and a naga staircase leading up to a large Buddha image, making it easy to combine merit-making with a short walk in the countryside. The temple is also a convenient stopping point before or after nearby rural sights such as the Upper Huai Sai reservoir area and a small waterfall learning center.
