琴浦地蔵

Kotoura Jizō is a small, quietly venerated Buddhist guardian statue tucked into the Higashisakuragicho neighborhood of Amagasaki, near the city's historic temple district. The name "Kotoura" (琴浦, "Koto Bay") evokes the coastline that once stretched along this part of the Osaka Bay shore, giving this humble roadside Jizō a connection to Amagasaki's maritime past.
