Swaminche Ghar
Tucked away on TATA Power Lane in Dombivli East, Swaminche Ghar is a quiet little Hindu temple devoted to Shri Swami Samarth, the 19th-century saint of Akkalkot whose shrine is simply called 'the Swami's home' in Marathi. With no grand spire or sprawling complex, it earns its place on local maps through atmosphere rather than scale: visitors repeatedly describe it as a calm, clean retreat where you can sit in prayer, watch the daily rituals, and leave feeling lighter than you arrived. Open from 8 am to 8 pm every day, it draws a steady stream of neighbourhood devotees, especially in the evening and on Thursdays. Its most distinctive feature is the daily Annadan — a free distribution of consecrated food at midday — which turns a quick darshan into a chance to share a meal with the temple community.
