Francis Peninsula
Francis Peninsula is one of the Sunshine Coast's quiet wonders: a landform that is a peninsula at low tide and a true island at high tide, separated from the mainland by Bargain Narrows near Pender Harbour. A short bridge connects it to the road network, and its western tip is protected as Francis Point Provincial Park—a day-use park with old-growth forest trails, a historic lighthouse, and sweeping coastal views across the Strait of Georgia.
