Bandijerna
Bandijerna (2,409 m) is a rounded, rocky summit and ridge crowning the eastern heart of Durmitor — the sixth-highest peak in Montenegro's great Dinaric massif and one of its most rewarding day-tops. It stands among the tallest walls of the national park, hemmed in by Šljeme, Milošev Tok, the jagged teeth of Župci and Terzin Bogaz, with the wide grassy saddle of Trojni Prevoj (2,245 m) opening below its flanks. For hikers and mountaineers, the appeal is twofold: a genuinely panoramic summit that frames Durmitor's high wall of Bobotov Kuk and Bezimeni Vrh to the west, and a set of three distinct approaches — from the Sedlo Pass, through the Skrka Lakes valley, or up from Black Lake (Crno Jezero) past the Lokvice katun — all converging on the same grassy saddle before the final short climb.
