Gyűszűház Magánkiállítás
Gyűszűház — the Thimble House — is a privately run museum in Vácrátót, a village just north of Budapest, displaying over 6,000 thimbles gathered from every continent and roughly 90 countries. The collection spans from ancient times to the present day and is among the largest of its kind in the world, currently chasing a Guinness World Record. What makes this museum special is not just the sheer number of objects but the personal storytelling: owner Magdi Mészáros guides visitors through decades of collecting, sharing the history behind unusual pieces. Admission is free, and the whole visit lasts about one to two hours, making it a memorable stop near the famous Vácrátót Botanical Garden.
