Humla
Humla — affectionately known to visitors as The Bumblebee — is the signature thrill of Kongeparken, the family amusement park outside Stavanger in Rogaland, Norway. Billed by the park as the country's largest carousel, it hoists riders ten metres into the air and whirls them around and around in a fluttering, weightless spin, a ride the park sums up with a playful 'ticklish-in-the-stomach guarantee.' The ride sits within Kongeparken's sprawling grounds at Ålgård, a park that packs more than 60 rides, attractions and family experiences into one hillside kingdom. Humla is one of its most recognisable landmarks and a favourite among the kids-and-parents crowd visiting from Stavanger, Sandnes and beyond.
