San Lak Mueang Khlung
San Lak Mueang Khlung is the city pillar shrine of Khlung, a quiet river town in Chanthaburi Province with deep roots in both Thai and Chinese culture. Though it looks like a modest concrete building, its story reads like a mystery: for decades, locals worshipped at a small Chinese shrine without realizing they were honoring their own town's founding spirit. The shrine sits on Thetsaban 1 Road in the heart of Khlung's old town, close to the district municipal offices. It remains an active place of worship and blessing-seeking, managed by the Khlung Foundation and sustained by the town's large Chinese-Thai community.
