AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Tucked into the hills of Mangone in Calabria's province of Cosenza, Parco di Divertimento L'Isola Che Non C'è — a name borrowed from Peter Pan's "island that isn't" — is a compact, family-run play park built for younger children. Rather than roller coasters, it offers a safe, soft-surfaced indoor playground with inflatables, slides, bouncy rides and ride-on toys, sized so kids aged roughly three to twelve can let off energy without parents worrying.↗↗
The draw here is convenience and reassurance for local families: a contained, monitored space with a generous indoor area and an outdoor section, plus a focus on children's birthday parties. With limited, set opening times and appointments often required, it works best as a planned afternoon-or-evening outing for the very young rather than a full-day theme-park trip.↗↗
A soft-play park for younger kids
L'Isola Che Non C'è is described as a newly opened play park aimed squarely at children aged three to twelve. The footprint is modest but well suited to that audience: roughly 400 square metres indoors complemented by about 200 square metres outside, giving toddlers and primary-school-age children room to climb, run and play in a controlled environment.
