AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Flòreis is a lavender field in the countryside of Bellona, in the Province of Caserta, Campania, where a forgotten orchard has been transformed into a fragrant setting for picnics, outdoor cinema, creative workshops and slow evenings under the stars. The project grew from a family dream and now welcomes visitors for curated experiences that all share a common thread: time spent unhurried among rows of blooming lavender.↗↗
From Abandoned Orchard to Lavender Field
The story of Flòreis begins in late 2018, when a family purchased a neglected agricultural plot in Bellona—an old fruit orchard that had stopped producing and was slowly being reclaimed by time. They cleared the unproductive trees, tested and prepared the soil, and planted lavender row by row. Season after season, the landscape changed colour, scent and identity. What you see today is a land recovered and returned to nature and to the people who visit it.↗
Lavender remains the heart of the project, but the surrounding landscape keeps its authenticity: olive trees, open earth and the rural character of Campania frame every view. The field changes with the seasons—some months the lavender colours the horizon in purple, others the land rests quietly, preparing the next bloom. Flòreis does not force time; it listens to it.
