AT A GLANCE
Why go?
Tři prameny – Kneippova lázeň (Three Springs – Kneipp Bath) is a small natural wellness spot tucked into a forested valley on the Klučná stream, a cold tributary of the Berounka River near Roztoky u Křivoklátu in Central Bohemia. Three year-round springs bubble up at the foot of Mokřinka hill, feeding a shallow pebble-bottomed pool designed for Kneipp cold-water foot therapy. A timber shelter beside the water makes it a peaceful rest stop on any hike or cycling tour through the Křivoklátsko landscape.↗↗↗
The Springs and the Bath
The site gets its name from three reliable springs that emerge within metres of each other on the left bank of the Klučná stream, right on the boundary between the cadastral territories of Branov and Roztoky u Křivoklátu. The principal spring bears the poetic name Voda z lesních tišin — "Water from the Silence of the Forest" — while the other two remain unnamed. With a combined yield of 100 to 200 litres per minute, the springs keep flowing even through the driest summer spells. All three are potable and piped through visible outlet tubes.↗
