We stayed here towards the end of June and honestly coukd not fault a thing! From the clean and comfortable bedroom, to the yummy breakfast overlooking the harbour and mountains. The courtyard is lovely and clean and the fairy lights at night make it really pretty. All the staff were friendly and informative and honestly the whole place was charming and off the beaten track and just all round comfortable :)

Staying in this 18th-century building was a unique experience. The interior is well-maintained, and the restaurant is absolutely stunning! The highlight of our stay was Tatiana—she provided exceptional service, handling all our needs with such warmth. We also had a memorable (and slightly wet!) night during a 'Jugo' storm when rainwater leaked through the windows, but Tatiana's care made us feel supported throughout. The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommended for the history and the incredible staff!

Hotel was clean and cozy. The view at the front is unbelievably beautiful. Pls keep in mind that it is a bit far from kotor old town and taxi takes approx 12 Euros each side. Bus timetable was not available and on weekends buses are not operating every hour.

A lovely little hotel set right by the bay! The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff were both professional and genuinely friendly — they even arranged a lift into Kotor when no taxis were available, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The location is perfect: just a short ride by bus or car to Kotor Old Town, and surrounded by plenty of seaside restaurants where you can dine right by the water. The bay itself is crystal clear and wonderful for swimming. We especially appreciated the welcome drink and the complimentary bottle for my birthday — such a kind touch! The team also gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kotor!

A cozy hotel on the coast of the Bay of Kotor in an 18th-century house. The interior features preserved walls, furniture, and many details from that time, creating a stunning atmosphere. The staff is very polite. The hotel offers a delicious à la carte breakfast. The hotel has a picturesque courtyard and a stunning terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel's beach is small, clean, and has a well-maintained pebble entrance. I highly recommend this hotel!

Truly one of the best hotels in Montenegro! From the moment we arrived at Hotel Galathea, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff is incredibly attentive and kind — their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Our room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered a stunning sea view. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, direct access to the beach, and the delicious breakfasts each morning. Everything was perfectly clean and quiet — just what we needed to relax.

We stayed one night with our family members. The hotel it's located in a beautifullll location, with a small private beach and private parking. The rooms and the overall hotel were super cute, very boutique style. The breakfast is included , served between 8-11 am. It was very tasty and fulfilling. The staff were really useful, we asked them to call for a taxi and after calling two companies, one of the clerks drove us instead since there were no taxis available. The only negative aspects were the high price of the rooms and some mold in the shower. Nevertheless, I recommend staying in the hotel.

A truly cozy and charming small hotel, with just the right number of guests, which makes the stay feel peaceful and personal. The service was excellent — attentive, warm, and always helpful. Breakfast was outstanding, fresh and carefully prepared, a perfect start to the day. The location is about a 10-minute drive from Kotor, but it’s absolutely worth it if you want to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Bay of Boka Kotorska away from the crowds. A perfect choice for relaxation and a more authentic experience.
