İBB Hidiv Kasrı Korusu

Hidiv Kasrı Grove (İBB Hidiv Kasrı Korusu) is a hilltop park and hiking area on the Asian side of the Bosphorus in the Çubuklu neighborhood of Beykoz, Istanbul. It takes its name from the grand Art Nouveau mansion at its heart—the Khedive's Pavilion (Hidiv Kasrı), built in 1907 for Abbas Hilmi Pasha, the last Khedive (viceroy) of Ottoman Egypt, and designed by the Italian architect Delfo Seminati. Beyond the mansion, the grove itself is the reason to come: a vast blanket of mature trees covering steep slopes and the crest of the ridge, with sweeping views across the strait, shaded walking paths, a celebrated rose garden, and a Beltur-run restaurant set among the greenery. Part historic estate, part public woodland, it is one of the quietest, most leafy escapes on the Bosphorus.

İstanbul Çilek Vadisi

İstanbul Çilek Vadisi — the 'Istanbul Strawberry Valley' — is a pick-your-own organic strawberry farm tucked into a green valley at Paşamandıra village, near Riva on the city's quieter Asian side. Instead of a manicured city park, it offers something rarer within Istanbul's limits: rows of low-slung berry plants you walk between, baskets in hand, plucking ripe fruit straight from the vine. The setting is a working family garden rather than a themed attraction, and that unpolished, hands-in-the-soil warmth is exactly what its glowing reviews celebrate. The strawberries are grown without pesticides — the team pulls weeds by hand — and visitors pick what they want and pay by weight on the way out, with a small entry fee option that lets you snack as you go. Add a small playground for kids, free-range hens, a few cows and a greenhouse full of vegetables, and it becomes a gentle half-day countryside escape that still lets you be home for dinner.
