Salto de Bellavista - Carhuello Caburgua Pucón
Salto de Bellavista is a privately cared-for waterfall sanctuary tucked into the lush Carhuello valley on the road between Pucón and Lago Caburgua. Rather than a single dramatic plunge, it offers something gentler and rarer in the Lake District: a set of cascades and crystal-clear pozones (plunge pools) that you can reach on foot through damp native forest, with timber walkways and staircases built to let families and older visitors get close to the water without a hard climb. Run as a small family farmstead and tourist attraction, the site is a world away from the commercialised viewpoints further along the Caburgua road. The entrance fee is modest and cash-only, the paths are short and well signed, and the whole visit takes about an hour or two — making it an easy half-day stop that pairs naturally with the Ojos del Caburgua or a swim in Lago Caburgua.
