Dear travellers,|My stay in Philae hotel was excellent. I went to the hotel by chance and from the moment i stepped it, I was welcomed. The hotel stuff will make everything possible to make sure you enjoy your stay. From the clean rooms, the fresh breakfast to helping you in anything you need while in Aswan. They make sure every small detail is perfect. That is what I really appreciated it.|With regards,

Pictures are really misleading. If this place is 10$ per night I wouldn't say a word. But they're charging 80 - 100$ per night. Their rooms aren't clean, everything is dusty and old. If you're planning to sleep here good luck, very loud, like there is no windows and you can hear people talking, screaming, car honking etc. ALSO, DON'T book tours through this hotel to any of the historical sites, specially not to ABU SIMBEL. We did it and it took us 5 hours to get there and they only gave us 2 hours to explore these amazing monuments, and then another 5 hours back! Owners should be more considerate of their guest, and show some appreciation and respect by at least having clean rooms and stocked bathrooms(1 towel, 1 soap, and third of toiled paper was waiting for us). All in all place seems like a big SCAM! I hope that they will take negative reviews seriously and do something about it. It's very rude to great people in that kind of environment after long travel days. We booked hotel for 2 nights, but next day soon as we came back from a tour we left and at the reception they tried to stop us and ask us to give them nothing less but "best" review on google and TripAdvisor! Good luck!

From staff most amazing guy Breakfast: awfull no choice / they give you a kid orange juice size / had to leave they bring you not what you want Room: clean / large but ask for toilet paper Need a bit of work / no elevator but where you are situated you have everything at 1 minute away

We had such an amazing stay, the receptionist and the staff were super helpful, friendly and kind. They always answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions on places to visit and were to eat. For our morning trip they arranged some breakfast to go boxes for us, would recommend Philae Hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Philae Hotel and can highly recommend it. The central location is absolutely perfect – everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel still feels calm and relaxing. The room quality was excellent, very clean and comfortable, and the double-glazed windows deserve special praise. Even though the hotel is on a lively street, the noise isolation is outstanding, and I slept perfectly every night.|The staff truly made the difference: incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with a smile. You really feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. The breakfast was another highlight – fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to start the day right. Overall, an amazing experience and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has easy access and is centrally located, close to everything. It has a nice view and friendly staff. The room is clean and well organized, although it could be more modern. The hotel manager is polite, helpful, and always willing to assist

Don't be misled - this is a very old Hotel with even older rooms. I don't recommend staying here. We've faced many problems in our first night of stay. One of the beds was unclean, the shower was not working properly and Water was not hot enough. We had to ask for soap as it was missing. Wi-Fi was terrible and the room was quite noisy. There were flies in the room - these are common in Aswan, but here it was more than usual. After a bad night of sleep, breakfast in the morning was also not good. We couldn't imagine staying another night here and had to book another hotel last minute for our 2nd night.

Excellent hotel - great location, clean rooms and very helpful staff. The hotel manager, Saif, went above and beyond in helping us settle in to the hotel and finding local amenities. He provided great advice and came with us to a local restaurant that does amazing food. The breakfast is very good, with good sized food portions being served. The hotel staff helped us in ensuring the safe arrival of our luggage that was being sent on a later flight due to a very tight connection that we had in Cairo. They contacted the airport staff and ensured that it was hand delivered to the hotel within 12 hours of our arrival. If we return to Aswan, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.
