Staying at Sea Star Apartments was the best decision I made when coming to Airlie Beach. The view, oh my gosh the view!!! Yes the hill is EPIC and my friend and I gave up going up and down it after about day three but happily taxis are easy to come by and drivers lovely. The apartment was stunning, clean, fully furnished with everything you need. The reception staff were amazing (even finding me an adaptor after my phone charger died) and the experience was perfect. I’ll definitely be back!

We had booked this property for a 2-nights stay at Airlie Beach. The key drivers to choose this property were: 1. Attractive pricing for a 1-bedroom apartment 2. Accessible location for pick up and drop facilities by other service providers Our experience began on a great note, with an early check-in graciously accepted and an upgrade provided to a 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment itself was huge, with stunning views of the Airlie beach and the coastline with pristine blue sea waters. Set in a hilly terrain, the property is a decent walk away from the Airlie Beach market and the nearest Woolworths outlet, but we were fine with the same. We utilised the cooking, washing and drying facilities in the apartment to our advantage. The property also offered a complimentary starting kit, including milk and coffee pods, which was very thoughtful. The management may want to consider upgrading some facilities such as Wi-Fi speed. The property representatives were very helpful and courteous. Overall, a positive experience.

The views were excellent, and the rooms were satisfactory. While the cleaning could have been better, it was not the worst I have encountered. The furniture appeared a bit dated, but this was not a significant issue. Air conditioning was available in every room; however, I had the impression that it was set not to cool below a certain temperature. The parking space presented some challenges, particularly for larger vehicles, due to the narrow and steep roads.I observed some insects in the stairwell, which is understandable given the tropical surroundings. The cupboards and dishes were clean, and most essential cooking appliances were provided.Overall, we were very pleased with our choice of accommodation.Please be aware that the internet service may not be reliable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sea Star Apartments! From the moment we arrived, the views over the Coral Sea took our breath away – definitely one of the best panoramic views in Airlie Beach. Waking up to that scenery every morning was a highlight. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The full kitchen was perfect for making meals, and the open-plan living area led out to a generous balcony where we spent most of our downtime soaking in the view with a drink in hand. The pool area was clean and inviting – a great spot to cool off after exploring the Whitsundays. The site manager Steve was friendly, helpful, and gave us great tips on local tours and dining options. It’s a short (though steep) walk to town, but we didn’t mind – the location made it peaceful and private while still being close to everything. Highly recommend Sea Star Apartments to couples, families, or anyone wanting a relaxed and scenic base in Airlie Beach. We’ll definitely be back!

The view is 5 star, apartment is big and has basic stuff. When you enter it feels like you have everything you need but it’s not true. The bathroom floors had towels lying on the floor, the kettle and pans were unclean and stinky. The most annoying part was there were guests above over apartment who created chaos on the first night, because it was an older apartment the noise levels coming into ours were frustrating. The next night they were partying and playing loud music. There is no way to contact the management after hours, u can leave messages and emails but they won’t get back. Asked for extra toiletries and towels- they could have responded that there is extra charge or whatever their policy but no courtesy. On checkout day, we were there to clear our dues and raised our concerns but the response was like oh sorry about that- she was very rude, didn’t give a damn about our inconvenience. I mentioned about cockroaches and she was like you are in middle of Queensland so they are everywhere! Please note: location is a hilly walk- so please be mindful

It’s a five star view and location but not a five star accomodation experience. Apartments have everything you may need to be self contained but it’s the basic maintenance issues that haven’t been done in YEARS that dampened our stay. And it’s BASIC maintenance. The job appears beyond the manager to keep up. List of issues - 1) missing tv remote for new tv. Reported first day of stay. Not replaced entirety of our stay. I figured out how to get it going on a phone app but there was no sense of urgency to find a replacement. 2) EVERY single fan in the apartment was noisy and had a speed issue (either fast or slow - no inbetween). Remote not working for master bedroom ceiling fan. Should have been replaced 10 years prior. 3) broken blinds 4) leaking air conditioner in main living area 5) leaking washing machine We visited the office daily to report new issues - reception staff were sympathetic but couldn’t really do much. It didn’t ruin the holiday we had saved hard for - but it did dampen it. This place charges a lot of money for very basic maintenance that hasn’t been invested in for YEARS. Stayed September 2025 school holidays. Next time will go back to AirBnB.

Had to ask for cutlery. Had to go ask for fry pan as fry pan base was buckled and didn’t sit on element. To cook toast we had to bold the toaster handle down for toast to cook. Think captain cook bought the toaster and furniture with him on his boat. Needs such an update. We stayed 10 nights total $2,800 and expected more than one dish cloth and 3 dishwasher tablets. Oh did I tell you about the cock roaches. Don’t stay here better value places cheaper and nicer elsewhere. Look at the reviews how management handled complaints we didn’t even bother.

The view is 5 stars. Great size clean family room. Fully appointed kitchen if required. Also a bbq in the pool area. Pool was great with separate spa. They will pick you up in a golf buggy on arrival as the drop off point is at the bottom of driveway. Service was great and friendly. Location is not far from main street but the roads can be slippery when rain or humid as they are steep. Hood plan is to walk to main street then taxi back.
